        • Our School Curriculum – Our exciting, innovative ‘Harmony’ curriculum promotes and develops a love of learning; carefully planned connecting all our subjects.
        • Routines in our Classrooms – Our school day is structured to ensure all our pupils receive a supported, enhanced and consistent learning experience.
        • Beyond the Classroom – At St Bartholomew’s, we provide a range of opportunities for students to be successful beyond the normal school day.
      • Assessment
        • Progress & Monitoring – We are continually developing ways of assessing pupils to secure progress including rigorous tracking and pupil progress meetings.
        • SATs – These are Standard Assessment Tests which are used to evaluate each child’s educational progress at the end of years 2 and 6.
        • Formative Feedback – This is used to check each child’s understanding in an effective way in order to guide actions for further progress.

        • Conduct – At St Bartholomew’s we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of behaviour and positive attitudes to learning.
        • Uniform – At St Bartholomew’s, all our pupils take pride in the school uniform they wear, always looking smart and ready to learn.
        • Attendance & Punctuality – Attendance to school is directly linked to pupil outcomes and pupils must aim to be on time and ready for learning.

        • Safeguarding & Safety – At St Bartholomew’s, we promote an environment and culture of keeping all our pupils safe and well cared for.
        • Free School Meals – Students that are eligible for free school meals receive additional support through the pupil premium grant.
        • SEND – The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities of pupils at St Bartholomew’s are met through enhanced provision and support.
