St Bartholomew's became a sponsor-led academy in March 2017 when we joined Severn Academies Educational Trust and have not been inspected since.

As a Church of England school we are not only inspected by OFSTED but also by inspectors looking to evaluate 'our' Distinctive' Christian character. The SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact that the Christian ethos of a school has on its children and staff. St Bartholomew's received an OUTSTANDING Inspection Grade in December 2016.
