Wrap Around Offer
Rainbow Childcare is run by the school providing before and after school provision to support working parents of children from reception to year 6.
Breakfast Club opens at 8:00am to provide breakfast, care and play activities before school opens. Staff support the children into the school at 8.30am ensuring a smooth transition and good links with the class teachers.
Rainbow Childcare also runs at the end of the day when children are collected from within the school ensuring information from teachers is received prior to taking the children into the specially set up activity room within the school. Play activities both inside and outside are planned around different themes across the year.
There is a maximum of 16 places available at each after school session and bookings are made via ParentPay. Childcare Vouchers are also accepted.
If your child signs up for an after school ‘club’ and then attends Rainbow After School Provision, you will only be charged for Rainbow, not the club as well.
Making Bookings
Bookings must be made in advance through Parent Pay at which time you will be agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out in our Rainbow Childcare document.
Extra Curricular Clubs
St. Bartholomew’s strives to provide a diverse selection of after school clubs which run from 3.30pm to 4.15pm. The children show commitment, dedication and enthusiasm which impacts greatly on their confidence and development as individuals.
Each term, a letter will be sent out asking parents/carers to advise which club(s) their child would like to attend. Where possible we aim to offer each child their first choice of club and parents are advised accordingly. A fee of £3.50 is charged for each club session, payable half termly through Parent Pay.

Forest School Club
Change 4 Life Club
Is a club which involves all aspects of healthy living, from a variety of different sports, fund raising, festivals, trips, ICT activities all based on the themes of healthy-living. Every other week the children will prepare, cook and present a healthy meal with our school Chef Jill whilst every alternate week the children will learn new sports like Boccia, New Age Kurling, organise/have their own festivals and attend trips which they have fundraised for.
Dance Club
This is a new and exciting club which is going to be led by a qualified dance instructor, who completed 4 workshops for the whole of Key Stage 2 back in June this year. Megan can teach tap dance, modern and street dance. This is a club where there will be a numerous chances to learn new dances and routines whilst creating your own motives and chances to perform in front of an audience.
Tag Rugby Club
We have our very own Tag Rugby coach working in Early Years, Ed has been a member of Stourport Rugby Club for several years and is a keen rugby player. Those who join the club will have lots of chances to train and be coached the rules of the games in readiness for the Tag Rugby Festivals running across the School Sports Programme.
