At St Bartholomew's we are always ready to welcome new students, parents and families into the family of St Bartholomew's, if you would like to come and visit the school then get in contact and we will be happy to book you in. Or if you have visited and would like to join St Bartholomew's then please follow the instructions below about admissions, the rules have changed slightly we no longer can accept admissions directly.

If you live in Worcestershire

If you live in Worcestershire and your child is due to start school in Reception or to transfer from a school to St Bartholomew’s school during the school year 2023/24, then you must apply to Worcestershire County Council for your child / children’s school place – The closing date to apply for a place in Reception class for September 2024 is 15th January, 2024. If you wish your child or children to join St Bartholomew's during the school year, please visit www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions

If you live outside Worcestershire

If you live outside Worcestershire and wish to apply for a place at any Worcestershire school, you must complete an application provided by your "home" LA. (The "home" LA is defined as the Local Authority relevant to the child's home address). The "home" LA will ensure that the application details are passed onto Worcestershire LA for consideration in the allocation of school places. If you are not resident in Worcestershire, then you should obtain admission details from your home LA, even if your preferences include schools within Worcestershire.

How do you apply?

Apply online here, you will need an email address to complete the application on the Citizen Portal..

If you do not have access to the internet at home, you can get online at any Worcestershire library. Training on "How to get online" is available free to all Worcestershire Library members.

You can also call the School Admissions Team on 01905 822700 if you need assistance.

Guidelines for Children with Statements of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan

Please apply online here and tick the box which indicates whether your child has a statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan.

If your child attends a mainstream setting and you are requesting a place in a special school or specialist provision, then you must also indicate a mainstream choice as well.
