Information about the holiday activities and food programme, for parents.
Parents and Careers can apply for free holiday activities for children between
5-16 years old that are entitled to Free School Meals, if you are not in receipt
of Free School Meals you can be referred by school or a professional
organisation who believes you are in need of the provision based on
individual circumstances.
To apply and read about your eligibility you can go to
www.worcestershire.gov.uk and search for the HAF Programme or you
can email enquiries@hafworcestershire.co.uk
You can use the HAF days at participating venues around Worcestershire and
once you have signed up you will be able to book places online.
This year the University of Worcester, Lakeside Campus has been granted
HAF funding for 60 places throughout the summer holidays on various dates.
Parents are more than welcome to email Lakeside directly at
lakeside@worc.ac.uk with any questions.
Children must be between the ages of 6-14 years to attend. The holiday club
runs from 9am-3pm. The HAF funding entitles them to 16 days in a variety of
settings or lakeside, and includes a hot meal every day.
There is also information on the Worcestershire County Council website https://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/council-services/childrens-services/virtual-family-hub/holiday-activities-and-food-haf-programme
